To celebrate its 40th anniversary and to commemorate Indonesia’s 69th Independence Day, Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) has launched the special edition of its GT125 scooter, called the Yamaha GT125 Garuda.
The 2014 Yamaha GT125 Garuda is based on the recently unveiled the Yamaha GT125 Eagle Eye, the top-end model of the GT-Series. It is powered by the same 125cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve SOHC engine with YMJet-FI (Yamaha Mixture Jet-Fuel Injection) as the original model, delivering 11,4PS at 9.000 rpm and 10,4Nm 6.500 rpm of torque . It also features 3D badges, blue headlamp reflector and lens, Smart Key Shutter, SmartStand Switch.
Pride to Ride with GT125 Garuda, The Spirit of Indonesia, the 2014 Yamaha GT125 Garuda is distinguished by a special “Garuda” striping inspired by the great bird Garuda from Ramayana. Fyi, the Garuda is the national symbol of Indonesia.
2014 Yamaha GT125 Garuda Special Edition is available in two color options: Red “Garuda Brave” and Gold “Garuda Glory”. While, the 2014 Yamaha GT125 is available in Elegant Black, Premium Purple, Luxury White, New Ultimate Red and New Edge Blue.
