PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) has unveiled the second generation of Yamaha’s 150cc Byson. The all-new 2015 Yamaha Byson FI offers Aggressive Muscular Design, Aggressive Performance, and Aggressive DNA Cruiser.
For 2015, the streetbike is powered by a new 149,3cc 4-stroke single cylinder SOHC engine with FI (Fuel Injection) System, which provides better torque comapred to previous model’s 153cc, 4 stroke single cylinder SOHC with carburetor system. The engine provides 9,61 kW (~13PS) at 8000 rpm and 12,98 Nm at 6000 rpm.
The 2015 Yamaha Byson comes with a new rigid-frame (up 12%), and has 10mm more ground clearance and 4mm shorter wheelbase compared to the previous model. The new generation also comes with a new headlamp, an aggressive fuel-tank design, new diamond-crystal taillight, new split seat, an aggressive muffler, a new speedometer with eco indicator, and 130/70-17 rear tire.
The 2015 All-New Yamaha Byson FI is available in Indonesia in three color opotions: Black Fighter, Red Combat and Silver Bold. It is priced at IDR 21,65 million.
