Yamaha has recently revealed a new flat track concept bike at the 2015 AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida. Called the Yamaha DT-07 Flat Track, the “Dirt Tracker Concept” bike was designed and built by Jeff Palhegyi Design(JPD) in collaboration with Yamaha’s US Racing Division.

The Yamaha FZ-07 is a great bike and also a great platform for customization, and they wanted to see what they could do with the bike as a flat tracker.

Besides a special race-tuned FZ-07 engine, the DT-07 Concept Its purpose-built chassisincorporates swingarm with an adjustable pivot and link system, a fully adjustable Öhlins TTX36 rear shock and modified conventional-style forks up front from the Yamaha R6. Other special elements include SK Racing braking rotor, the wheels by Propulsion Labs, Saddlemen seat, VORTEX sprockets and handlebars, and so on. “The entire bike was essentially built from scratch.”

What makes it cooler is the bodywork is painted in Yamaha’s 60th-Anniversary race livery.
