MV Agusta has finally officially revealed the street-legal version of its racing superbike, the F4 RR. Called the MV Agusta F4 Reparto Corse, production of the superbike is limited to 250 units only, and each comes with a price tag of 36,900 euros.
The 2015 MV Agusta F4 RC is available in two power levels, depending on the exhaust. Powered by a 4-cylinder engine, the MV Agusta F4 RC with a standard exhaust has a total output of 205.5 hp, while the other one with the 4-2-1-2 Termignoni race exhaust (included in the kit) produces 212 hp at 13,600 rpm. Peak torque is 84.8 lbs.ft in either configuration.
The 2015 MV Agusta F4 RC comes equipped with a high-end technology feature called the MVICS 2.0 electronics system, which includes ABS, 8-level traction control, electronic gearshift assistance, rear-wheel lift control, and quick-shifter.
Compared to the World Superbike machine, the F4 RC is 33 pounds lighter (it weighs 386 pounds dry) and it gets a new camshaft, new crankshaft, new cylinder heard, a lithium-ion battery, asĀ well as lighter pistons, titanium connecting rods, bigger fuel injectors, carbon-fiber fairing and magnesium casings. For suspension, there’s a front-fork TiN-coated Ohlins USD NIX 30 and an Ohlins TTX 36 rear shock absorber.
Moreover, each owner gets a race kit box that includes an ECU upgrade, 4-2-1-2 titanium Termignoni exhaust, seat cowl, race-style fuel cap and mirror block-off plates.
