After had announced will launch the production version of its Empulse electric motorcycle, Brammo recently has officially unveiled the official specifications for the production version of the 2012 Brammo Empulse.
The bike will be available in two versions, the Brammo Empulse and the Brammo Empulse R. However, just for now, the Company only revealed the full technical specifications of the 2012 Brammo Empulse R, and there’s no word on what differentiates the two models at the moment.
The Brammo Empulse R electric street bike is powered by a 54hp water-cooled Permanent Magnet AC (PMAC) motor and will comes with a 10 kWh (9.3 kWh nominal) battery pack along with Brammo’s six-speed gearbox.
“The Empulse and Empulse R are a milestone for Brammo and the new electric benchmark for the motorcycling industry. I know when I reveal the bikes on May 8th people are going to be blown away by the integrity of the design and the focused presence this motorcycle commands,” says Craig Bramscher, Founder and CEO of Brammo. “When we first revealed the Empulse prototype, our customers had some very clear feedback for us and that feedback has inspired much of what you will see in the production version.”
