MV Agusta plans to release the larger version of the F3 675, the MV Agusta F3 800, next year. According to Marco Cassinelli, Head of the firm’s Research and Development, the sports bike is already under development, and it is scheduled to be officially introduced to the press in June.
Rumors have it, the 2014 MV Agusta F3 800 will use the same bored-out three-cylinder engine as the MV Agusta Brutale 800 and Rivale 800, but it will produce significantly more power and higher revving. The 798cc three-cylinder engine equipped on the Brutale 800 is good for 123 hp at 11,600 rpm and 60 ft-lb. at 8600 rpm, while the upcoming F3 800 will likely have a max power output of 140 hp. With that result, the 2014 MV Agusta F3 800 will ready to compete with Ducati’s 848 and Suzuki’s 750 GSX.
The 2014 MV Agusta F3 800 is expected to use the firm’s Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS) electronics package and also to come with ride-by-wire, ABS and multiple power modes.
Well, we can’t wait to see the new machine, which is expected to be priced at £11,000.
