For 2013, MV Agusta’s four-cylinder Brutale models – the Brutale 1090, 1090 R and the 1090 RR – now can be had with ABS, the Bosch 9MP. The Bosch 9MP ABS unit has lightweight and compact package, making it ideal unit to use into the little amount of available space on the the compact Brutales.
Moreover, the Bosch ABS unit uses internal pressure sensors and wheel speed sensors to calculate the optimal amount of brake pressure. The brake system can be deactivated through the instrument cluster controls of the bike. Additionally on the top-spec Brutale 1090 RR, riders can even select between two ABS modes: Normal and Race Mode.
