Kawasaki has updated its Z1000SX sports-tourer for 2014 with a redesigned chassis and new electronic driving aids including traction control and adjustable power modes.
Like the previous model, the 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX is powered by a 1043cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line four engine, but comes with a revised air box and air intake system. Kawasaki claims the 2014 model is able to reach its top speed more quickly than before. Moreover, for 2014, the Z1000SX sports-tourer also gets 3-Mode KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control), two power modes which can be selected using a switch on the handlebars, revised 41mm front fork, remote adjustable rear shock, and a radial-mount master cylinder for the brake system. The ABS is available as an option.
The 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX features Economical Riding Indicator and also has a new set of accessories available, including new lockable colour-coded panniers (each of which can fit a full-face helmet).
