2015 Vespa GTS 300, GTS 300 Super and GTS 300 Supersport Coming to US

The 2015 Vespa GTS 300, GTS 300 Super and GTS 300 Supersport are coming to the U.S. Piaggio Group Americas announce has announced that all models will be equipped with a new front ESS suspension, ASR traction control, two-channel ABS braking system and PMP system that is rebranded as Vespa Multimedia Platform that allows you to connect your smartphone to your Vespa, turning it into an onboard computer with GPS navigation and real-time display ofspeedometer and tachometer, engine power and torque, longitudinal acceleration, and so on.

The 2015 Vespa GTS 300, GTS 300 Super and GTS 300 Supersport feature a large body version of Vespa, a timeless icon, and now has a premium comfort-focused saddle with a more spacious helmet compartment under it, the latest generation instrument cluster and come standard with a USB port located in the leg shield plate compartment, convenient for charging your electronic device.

All models are mechanically identical. They are powered by a 278cc single-cylinder four-valve four-stroke, liquid cooled, electronic injection engine providing 21.2 hp at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 16.4 lb-ft. at 5000 rpm.

Visually, the 2015 Vespa GTS 300 has a chrome rear luggage rack, while the GTS 300 Super and GTS 300 Supersport variants get black wheels, red suspension springs, as well as different “tie” on the shield and different front fender molding. The Super and the Supersport models also come with a black seat with white striping and orange striping with a ribbed surface, respectively.

The three models sit on the 12-inch wheels shod in tubeless tires, and has a 31.1-inch saddle height, and a 2.5 gallon fuel tank.

In the U.S, the 2015 Vespa GTS 300 ABS will be available in Nero Vulcano black and Grigio Dolomiti gray, for $6,599. The 2015 Vespa GTS 300 Super is also priced at $6,599, but it will be offered in Nero Lucido black, Montebianco white or Blue Gaiola blue with a black seat. The 2015 Vespa GTS 300 Supersport will only come in a Nero Abisso matte black with orange graphics and a black saddle, and it will set you back $6,799.
