2015 Piaggio Beverly 350 SportTouring

Piaggio has revealed the 2015 model year of the Piaggio Beverly 350 SportTouring. The Piaggio Beverly 350 is one of Piaggio’s best-selling scooters and it is the first scooter in the world to feature anti-lock brakes (ABS) and also Traction control (ASR) that can be turned on and off through a dedicated handlebar switch – both are optional.

The 2015 Piaggio Beverly 350 SportTouring is powered by a 330 cc 4-stroke single cylinder, electronic-injected engine that has been developed to offer the performance of a 400cc motor and emissions and economy of a 300. It delivers 32.8 hp at 8250 rpm and 23.8 ft-lb. at 6250 rpm, and returns 71.7 mpg.

The 2015 Piaggio Beverly 350 SportTouring gets a new seat with a larger surface area for rider and passenger, as well as titanium finishes on several parts including the exhaust shield, rack, frame and upper fork guards.

For suspension, the Beverly 350 SportTouring uses a 35mm telescopic fork with 90mm of travel and dual rear shocks with 81mm of travel, adjustable dual hydraulic shock absorber and four-position spring pre-load. The scooter features a 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels wrapped in a tubeless 110/70-16 and a tubeless 150/70-14 tires, respectively.

Other features include 3.4-gallon fuel tank, a 31.3-inch seat height, 330mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brakes, and a claimed curb weight of 390 pounds.

In Europe, the 2015 Piaggio Beverly 350 SportTouring will be available in Galaxy Black or Silver Comet (both with a red seat), or Star White or Matt Black (both with black seat). Unfortunately, there’s still no word on U.S. availability and will the US-Spec be offered with an optional ABS and Traction control.
