MV Agusta has revealed photos and technical specs of their new 2013 MV Agusta F4 range, featuring the MV Agusta F4, MV Agusta F4 R, and MV Agusta F4 RR.
For 2013, each model gets a number of performance upgrades and unique graphics. For the engine, the F4 range is still powered by the same short-stroke inline four-cylinder engine that comes with an ELDOR electronics package with Ride-By-Wire system and adjustability for engine power management, throttle sensitivity adjustable, max torque, variable Engine response, engine Braking and RPM limiter.
The bikes also feature Electronic EAS (Electronically Assisted Shift), and traction control adjustable on eight levels with anti-wheeling and a lean angle sensor. The structure and geometry characteristics remains unchanged.
The ‘Standard’ F4 (pictured above) features many of the tweaks of the other two, including new lightweight forged wheels, new exhaust, new lights and an expanded electronics package. The F4 uses Brembo M4 front brake calipers and Nissin master cylinders, while its suspension is a combination a fully adjustable 50mm Marzocchi fork and Sachs shock.
The 2013 MV Agusta F4 is available in White/Red/Silver and its listed price of €16,990 or about $21,701.24.
The 2013 MV Agusta F4 R is basically the same as the base F4 model, but uses race-specific Öhlins suspension components and a lighter forged wheels. The 2013 MV Agusta F4 R comes in Red/Silver and is available for €18,990 or about $24,256.72.
The 2013 MV Agusta F4 RR uses very similar Öhlins suspension system to Ducati’s Panigale, which allows rider to adjust suspension settings via the handle-bar and multi-function dash. The F4 RR also comes equipped with an Öhlins electronic steering damper and Brembo Monobloc M50 brake calipers with 320mm front discs.
MV claims 195bhp at 13,400rpm for both the F4 and F4 R, while the peak rev limit has been raised to 14,000 RPM (with 200.8bhp) for the F4 RR. The 2013 F4 double R is available in Pearl White/Black/Red and it is prived at €23,990 or about $30,643.43.
