2014 MV Agusta 3-Cylinder Models Now Equipped with ABS

This year, MV Agusta has finally revealed the ABS version of its three-cylinder models, including the MV Agusta Brutale 675 and 800, the F3 675 and 800, and the Rivale 800.

The ABS models will utilize an internal pressure sensor and independent wheel sensors on each axle, all controlled by the Bosch 9MP ABS unit which is already offered on some of MV Agusta’s top competitors including the Ducati Hypermotard models. This upgrade can be deactivated on each model for unassisted riding via the relevant set-up menu.

For the “Most beautiful 600 in the world” MV Agusta F3 675 and the Rivale 800 will comes equipped with a dual-function ABS system which offers a Normal Mode for everyday riding and Race Mode for the racetrack or more aggressive road riding. Unfortunately, no concrete details have been given.

MV Agusta claims “the ABS was specifically developed to provide safer, more effective deceleration on all road surfaces without compromising either the power or the progressiveness of the system and with the clear aim of obtaining the shortest possible braking distances.”
