The 2016 Kawasaki Z800 ABS streetfighter is coming to the U.S soon, joining its soon-to-be top rivals the Yamaha FZ-09 and the Suzuki GSX-S750. The Z1000’s Little Brother is expected to be available in US dealerships – except California due the emmission regulations – this fall for $8,399.
The new Kawasaki Z800 ABS is Kawasaki’s mid-level streetfighter powered by an 806cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, 16-valve engine that is linked to a six-speed transmission and uses a sealed chain for the final drive. The engine has a total output of 94 hp and a peak torque of 56 lb-ft. Compared to the Yamaha FZ-09 and the Suzuki GSX-S750, the Z800 is equipped with Anti-lock Braking System and adjustable suspension as standard feature.
Visually, the The 2016 Kawasaki Z800 has similar aggressive styling as its big brother Z1000. It features a high-tech digital and instrumentation aggressive street fighter appearance, with sporty yet natural ride position that is designed to enhance feedback from bike to rider.
