Max Biaggi has been with Aprilia at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, as the Aprilia unveiled the 2013 RSV4 model, the street version of the racing bike.
For 2014, the 2013 Aprilia RSV4 returns with the APRC electronics package (but were altered and improved) and 1000cc V4 engine, but receives 2-channel advanced ABS and a Brembo M4 monobloc calipers similar to the ones found on the Panigale 1199, S1000RR and ZX-10R. The engine now is claimed delivers 181.5 hp and 86.3 ft-lb peak torque at 10,500 rpm, both up from the current model’s claims of 177 hp and 84.8 ft-lb. Furthermore, the fuel tank capacity has been increased from 17 liter to 18.5 liters.
No word on U.S. pricing and availability, but price as shown on the stand is €22,790.
