Ducati has added two new versions into its Monster range, the 2015 Ducati Monster 1200S Stripe and 2015 Ducati Monster 821 Stripe. Both models receive a special red color scheme with a white double side-stripes on the mudguard, tank and passenger seat cover.
Besides those visual changes mentioned above, the Monster 1200S Stripe is also characterised by a red-painted micro-fairing with windshield, and it features carbon fibre belt covers and a Ducati Performance undertail plate holder made of solid aluminium. Meanwhile the 2015 Monster 821 Stripe receives red frame, black wheels, and a red micro-fairing with windshield.
As quick review. The 2015 Ducati Monster 1200S Stripe is powered by an 1198 cm³ Testastretta 11° DS engine that delivers 145 hp at 8,750 rpm and 92 lb-ft torque at 7,250 rpm. The 2015 Ducati Monster 821 Stripe boasts an 821 cm³ Testastretta 11°, 4-valve-per-cylinder Desmodromic, liquid cooled engine that has a maximum power of 112 hp at 9,250 rpm and a torque of 65.9 lb-ft at 7,750 rpm.
The Monster 1200 S Stripe features a TFT instrumentation, three-level ABS, multiple riding modes, eight-level traction control, carbonfibre front mudguard, LED indicators, and a height-adjustable seat.
The Monster 821 Stripe also features three-level ABS and eight-level traction control, plus it has LCD instrumentation and height-adjustable seat.
