Kawasaki has unveiled the special edition of its W650 retro standard, called the Kawasaki W800 Cafe Style.
Kawasaki W800 Cafe Style is based on the new 2011 Kawasaki W800 retro casual roadster, which hit Australian dealerships last month. This new special edition has retro style and is more stylish as well as delivers a very different aesthetic compared to the standard version. It features a new front cowl, aerodynamic fairing and solo seat.
Will surely satisfy even the hearts of owners seeking originality
Kawasaki W800 Cafe Style is powered by the same 773cc fuel-injected, parallel twin-cylinder engine that produces 48hp (35kW), with an undisclosed torque figure peaking at just 2000rpm. Other same features include five-speed gearbox, 300mm front disc brake, 39mm front ‘tubes’ and dual rear shocks.
Kawasaki W800 Cafe Style special edition appears to be a Japan-only accessory kit, and it won’t be available in US, since unsatisfied sales of the W650 when it was available in the US in 1999 and 2000.
