Victory Motorcycles has introduced first street-legal all-electric motorcycle, the Empulse TT. Based on Brammo’s Empulse R street bike, the 2016 Empulse TT has similar specs as the Empulse R but restyled and rebranded. It features a sport bike-style aluminum beam-frame, fully adjustable suspension with an inverted front fork and a single rear shock, and aggressive brakes and lightweight cast aluminum wheels, with a smart combination of high-end technology and stylish, modern design.
The 2016 Victory Empulse TT sports an electric motor mated to a 6-speed gearbox with multi-plate, hydraulic activated wet clutch, providing 54 Hp and 61 pound-feet of torque. The motor is powered by a Li-ion battery with an output of 10.4 kWh. The Victory Empulse TT features dual ride mode: Eco for everyday riding and Sport for high-performance riding, and has a top speed of over 100 mph (160 km/h). Read more
