Indian two-wheeler manufacture, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd, has launched a new 125cc scooter in India, it is called the Rodeo Uzo. The 2014 Mahindra Rodeo Uzo 125 is the premium version of the original Rodeo, where it is visually distinguished by the new racing style body graphics and colored wheels. Furthermore, the new sooter also gets two-tone sporty seat with anti-slip dual texture and the fully-digital instrument cluster that displays the speedometer, trip meter, tachometer, odometer, clock, high speed warning alarm and accelerometer.
The 2014 Mahindra Rodeo Uzo 125 scooter is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine with advanced DCDI technology and AILA system for better performance and lower maintenance. The engine delivers 8PS and 9Nm of torque, while returning fuel economy of 59kmpl (ARAI figure).
Other features include front telescopic suspension, external front fuelling, a charging point to charge mobile phones, side stand safety buzzer, as well as a largest illuminated underseat storage of 22 litres that is protected by a 4-in-1 antitheft key.
“UZO 125 is targeted at youth looking to own a scooter,” said Mahindra Two Wheelers’ chief of operations Viren Popli. It will compete against the Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125.
The 2014 Mahindra Rodeo Uzo 125 will be available in Racetrack Black, Colt Black, Victory Violet and Blazing Blue. It is priced at Rs 47,957.
