Along with the 2015 ZX-10R 30th Anniversary Edition, Kawasaki is also unveiling the 30th Anniversary Edition of its first 600cc Ninja sportbike, the Ninja ZX-6R.
Like the standard Ninja ZX-6R, the 2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 30th Anniversary Edition boasts a 636cc, DOHC, in-line four cylinder engine which is mated on a six speed transmission. The 2015 ZX-6Rs also come equipped with F.C.C. clutch with assist, slipper functions, Selectable Engine Power Modes, Three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), and Showa Separate Function Big Piston Fork (SFF-BP). Breaking system consists of Nissin one-piece “monobloc” radial-mount front brake calipers and radial-pump front brake master cylinder, as well as an optional Supersport-grade KIBS ABS.
The 2015 Ninja ZX-6R 30th Anniversary Edition will be finished in a shade of Lime Green/Pearl Stardust White, with green pinstripe decals on the wheels and special 30th Anniversary badges on each side of the fairing. The standard 2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R come in Metallic Matte Carbon Gray/Flat Ebony.
MSRPs for the standard 2015 ZX-6R and 30th Anniversary Edition are $11,699 and $11,999, respectively. ABS version adds $1000 to the price.
