Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L dual-sport

American Honda has announced numerous models returning for the 2014 model year. The returning models with no changes at all include the Honda Sabre, Stateline and Interstate, Shadow Aero, Shadow Spirit 750, Rebel and XR650L dual-sport, while the the returning model which got the new color options include the Honda Fury and Shadow Phantom. All “These well-established bikes continue to be favorites among riders,” said Bill Savino, Powersports Press Manager in the press release.

The 2014 Honda Fury will be available in Black and new Matte Pearl White color scheme with a red frame for $13,390. Meanwhile, the ABS model will be available only in Black and will be priced at $14,390. The Fury is a chopper powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 1312cc V-twin engine with low-maintenance shaft drive, which sacrifices speed and slightly lower fuel economy (over 40 mpg).

Other 1312cc models returning for 2014 include the Honda Sabre, Stateline and Interstate. All three cruisers come with the same paint scheme and pricing as last year. The 2014 pro-street-style cruiser Sabre will come in black for $12,250, the 2014 Honda Stateline will be available in black as well for $12,150, while the 2014 Honda Interstate will come back in 2014 in Light Silver Metallic. ABS version is available for each model for an extra $1000.

The 2014 Honda Fury, Sabre, Stateline and Interstate will hit the US dealerships in January 2014.

The Shadow models except Shadow RS will come back for 2014. The 2014 Shadow Phantom will be available in new Grey Metallic and Black – but now with more blacked-out components -, while the 2014 Shadow Aero and 2014  Shadow Spirit return with the same Metallic Silver/Pearl White or black and Ultra Blue Metallic Flame or Black, respectively.

The 2014 Shadow models will be available in dealerships in December, 2013.

Honda also decided to return its 234cc Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport with no changes. The 2014 Honda Rebel can be yours in November in either Black or Candy Red for $4190. Meanwhile, the 2014 Honda XR650L dual-sport which is powered by an air-cooled dry-sump, four-stroke, single-cylinder, 644cc, SOHC engine is offered with a base price of $6,690 and be available in December.
