The Ducati 1199 Panigale drops 20lbs off the Superbike 1198’s design thanks to the 1199’s airbox. Its new swingarm is 39mm-longer than 1198’s swingarm, this helped stretch its wheelbase to 56.6 inches. 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale has a dry weight of just 164kg and is powered by most powerful twin-cylinder production engine on the universe and is now anintegral part of an innovative monocoque chassis, produce 195 horsepower.

The 1199 Panigale sets the most extreme benchmark ever and its arrival represents one of the most historic moments in Ducati’s incredible Superbike history.

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale also comes equipped with “the first” features include a revolutionary monocoque frame, full-LED headlight, electronically adjusted suspension, engine braking control system as well as GPS-assisted data acquisition system with the new generation DDA+ (optional). ABS brakes will be an optional item for the Ducati 1199 Panigale.

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale will be available in April 2012 and comes in three versions: the standard model ($17,995), 1199 Panigale S ($22,995), and the flagship 1199 Panigale S Tricolore ($23,995).
