The Yamaha YZF-R1 is back for 2013 with new colors and graphics, but mechanically unchanged from last year’s models. The 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 gets three color options including Matte Gray, Rapid Red and Raven, and the Team Yamaha Blue and White.
The 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 features new seven-level traction control system and is powered by 998cc liquid-cooled engine with a crossplane crankshaft derived from Yamaha’s MotoGP program.
The 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 with Matte Gray or Rapid Red/Raven colors is priced at $14,290, while the Team Yamaha color is available for $14,490. All of them will arrive in showrooms in September.
