BMW has launched the new 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão, has single cylinder which suitable for both off-road and everyday use. Named for a dry backlands region of northeastern Brazil, the G650GS Sertão has more sporty look than the standard G 650 GS and it is designed to be more off-road effective and still has technical features and comfort of a regular road bike.
2012 BMW G650GS Sertão is powered by the same liquid-cooled single cylinder engine. This 652cc double overhead camshafts engine delivers an output of 48hp at 6500rpm and maximum torque of 60Nm at 5000rpm. Also available reduced power version, boasts 34 hp at 6500 rpm and 47 Nm at 4500 rpm.
2012 BMW G650GS Sertão has 41mm fork and a 1484mm wheelbase. It also has larger wheels than the standart G650GS and features adjusted suspension, giving the G650GS Sertão total seat height of 860mm compared to the standart model’s 800mm. There’s also available an a 900mm accessory seat for added height.
Other new features of 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão include aluminum engine guard, hand protectors, high windscreen, nd a longer front wheel cover. 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão is comes in the great Aura White/Arroyo Blue color scheme with big ‘Sertão’ lettering on the tank and Black/Grey Seat.
