2012 KTM 1190 RC8R Review

KTM always offers motorcycles with an outstanding design and power, one of them is the 1190 RC8 R. The KTM 1190 RC8R is pure superbike that comes with one of the most powerful V2 engines of our times and one of the best chassis in the world.

The KTM 1190 RC8R is powered by 1190cc four-stroke engine with 173 hp and 127 Nm of torque. Its V-twin with 75° cylinder angle comes with twin plug ignition, flow-optimized ducts and cam follower drive, each with two overhead camshafts for four valves. Valve timing is adjustable via the camshaft gears. With that great combination, the result is more controllable power, contactless, lower fuel consumption and less emissions.

This street legal bike also comes equipped with Dunlop SportSmart tires, perfectly tuned suspension, rear linkage with eccentric bracket for ride height and anti-squat adjustment, LED daytime running lights, multi-functional display, and brake system with highest quality Brembo components that functions perfectly, sensitively and steadily. The lightweight 1190 RC8R weight about 186 kg (without fuel).
