2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom

Has been presented at the 2012 EICMA Show, the new 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom pictured above boasts the same stroke as the 1151cc engine, but reaches a displacement of 1380cc (the largest V2 in Europe) through a 104mm bore. Its engine is trulty an evolution of the popular “Quattrovalvole” (four-valve), delivering 95 hp at 6500 rpm and 88.5 ft-lb. at 2750 rpm. The engine now is linked to a six-speed transmission instead of a five-speed gearbox.

Coming with ride-by-wire technology, the bikes offer three engine mappings: Turismo (touring), Veloce (Fast) and Bagnato (Wet). And also feature a three-level traction control system. Read more

Moto Guzzi V7 Special, V7 Stone and V7 Racer Heading to US for 2013

2013 V7 models powered by a 750cc V-Twin mounted engine: the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, V7 Special and V7 Racer have been first announced by Piaggio back in March. Now, the company has announced that those V7 models will hit US showrooms, with sales to begin in mid-October.

The entry-level 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone which features six split-spoke wheels and various chrome accents, will be available in two different colors: Matte Black and Pure White. In Us, the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is priced at $8390. Read more

2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, V7 Special and V7 Racer

Moto Guzzi has released its new 2013-spec V7 range, including the Racer, Special and Stone versions. All of them actually were previously introduced at the last year’s EICMA show as the V7, two-toned V7 Special and the shiny V7 Racer. Now, the matte V7 version is called the V7 Stone.

In press relase, ‘We can say that the V7 is a completely new bike, more powerful, faster, thriftier, more ecological, better refined and more comfortable than the previous version, and yet still with a shaft-driven 90° transverse V-twin engine and double cradle frame.’ Read more
