Peugeot has announced that its retro-styled scooters, Django Sport and Evasion, are now available in 50cc version. Scooters for adult, the two models which were available in 125cc and 150cc motors, can be ridden on an AM licence, meaning anyone aged 16 or over are allowed to ride it.
Django name was taken from Django Reinhardt, the legendary Belgium-born Jazz guitarist. The new Django 50cc scooter sports a 2-stroke engine which meets modern emissions regulations and expectations for fuel economy.
The Django Sport 50cc features LED indicators and rear lights, a classic analogue speedometer dial with an LCD screen display to set a trip computer, a lockable dual compartment glove box with a 12-volt power socket inside for charging your devices on the go, alloy pillion footrests, a chrome hand-grip, and a helmet-size luggage bay under the seat.
The new Django Sport 50cc retro vintage style scooter will be available in two color options: Silver Satin and French Blue, each comes with color-matched cover behind the seat which can be removed to reveal a passenger seat.
Meanwhile, the new Peugeot Evasion 50cc scooter will be offered four different two-tone color schemes: Red, Green, Blue, and Orange, each comes with white wheel rims and white wall tires, plus features a fly screen and chrome front luggage rack.
In UK, both Django Sport and Evasion 50cc scooters are arriving at the beginning of July, and will be priced at £2399.
