Triumph has recently announced that it will launch 50 units special edition version of its one of the best dual-sport bikes, the Triumph Tiger Explorer, in order to pay tribute to the bikes that will be used motorcycle expedition specialists Globebusters.
Compared to the standard model, the 2015 Triumph GlobeBusters Tiger Explorer XC special edition will get numerous upgrades and modifications, inlcuding a taller front screen, headlight protectors, radiator guards, CNC machined front foot rests, a tank pad, a sat nav and mount, as well as panniers and a roll bag.
For the engine, the GlobeBusters Tiger Explorer XC is powered by the same 137hp engine found on the regular Tiger Explorer models, and also shares the same features including throttle control, cruise control, ABS and traction control.
The 2015 Triumph GlobeBusters Tiger Explorer XC is available in matt black or matt blazing orange, all of which comes with a number of eye-catching visual changes such as painted pannier lids, mounts, footrest hangers and fog light surround, blacked-out grab handles and handlebars.
The Triumph Tiger Explorer XC Special Edition is priced at £13,999 OTR and will arrive at select dealerships in the UK starting April 2015.
