Bajaj Auto India Limited has launched its brand new model called the 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is largely inspired by KTM design language which found on KTM Duke 200, because both KTM Duke 200 and 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS have been designed by same design team.
This new Bajaj Pulsar 200NS will have cutting-edge engine which offers better performance, emission and fuel efficiency. It is powered by a similar engine as the Duke, 200 CC Liquid cooled Single Cylinder petrol engine. But the engine has 4 Valves and Triple spark combustion system compared to the Duke’s single spark plug, for Better fuel economy, and is mated to six-speed transmission. It makes the engine provides a peak power of 23.5 PS at 9500 rpm (compared to the KTM Duke 200’s 24.7 hp at 10000rpm) and a peak torque of 18.3 Nm at 8000 rpm (compared to the Duke’s 14.0 ft-lb. at 8000rpm). 0 to 60 KMPH in just 3.6 Seconds with a top speed of 136 KMPH.
2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS has a wheelbase of 1363mm and ground clearance of 167mm, it weights 145kg and has 12L fuel capacity. This bike also comes equipped with a new design 17 inch alloy wheels, new Design Headlamps with small daytime city lights below headlamps, new Visor design, new dual tone front mud-guard with sharp design, new Design front disk with dual piston calipers and so on.
In India, the 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is expected to be launched in April 2012 with expected price is Rs. 90,000.
