Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Gas Gas has introduced the factory replica models of the EC 250 and EC 300 Enduro series used by the riders of the Gas Gas Factory Pons Team, Rodrig Thain and Danny McCanney, in the World Championships, Indoor Enduro and Superenduro.
The 2013 Gas Gas Factory Replica models come with the latest innovations from the Gas Gas racing department, which making them better than the previous replica models. For 2013, the bike’s chassis was lightened and had improvements to the steering angle, an aluminium sub-frame, with revision of the pull-rods for stability and traction. Besides chassis modifications, the 2013 Factory Replica models also get re-worked cylinder head with pre-compression by Pere Ibanez, the hub and the signature clutch Rekluse cover, the Keihin carburetor and FMF silencer.
Other highlights include a 48mm Marzocchi front fork with anti-friction treatment, Öhlins TTX44 rear shock, the CSC system (Chassis Stability Control), Renthal Fat Bar handlebars with Pro-Grip grips, Takasago Excel wheels wrapped in Metzeler Six Days Extreme tires, as well as front and rear Nissin master cylinders and Galfer Wave disc brakes.
Both the 2013 Gas Gas EC 250 and EC 300 Factory Replica models will be available in May. More information about the bikes will be revealed in the Grand Prix of Spain’s Enduro World Championship that will be held on 11 and 12 May 201 in Puerto Lumbreras (Murcia).
