Suzuki is going to officially introduced a semi-faired version of the Suzuki Inazuma GW250, the Suzuki Inazuma GW250S, at the Shanghai Motor Show in China, which will be held on April 20th.
The prototype of the Inazuma GW250S (pictured here) was actually introduced at last year’s International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor) alongside the Inazuma GW250J (a police-spec version of the GW250).
The Inazuma GW250S is distinguished by a windscreen and half-fairing. This semi-faired version is powered by the same fuel injected 248cc, liquid cooled, lightweight, two cylinder, engine as the naked and police-spec models. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission, and is rated at 24 hp at 8500 rpm and 16 ft-lb. at 6500 rpm.
The Inazuma variants will be produced by Changzhou Haojue Suzuki Motorcycle Company (a joint venture company of Suzuki and Dachangjiang), and will first be available in China. According to the guys over at Motociclismo.it, the Inazuma GW250S is also scheduled to be exported to Japan and Europe.
