2013 Triumph Rocket III Roadster

Triumph has unveiled the all-new 2013 Triumph Rocket III, which comes in two flavors: the Roadster and the Touring models.

For 2013, the first three gears has been removed so the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine providing full power in all gears. Like the 2012 model, the Rocket III still has a peak power output of 146 hp at 5750 rpm and 163 ft-lb. of torque at 2750 rpm, but the difference is the new 2013 Triumph Rocket III comes without the restrictions in lower gears.

The engine on the 2013 Triumph Rocket III Touring version offers less power than the regular Rocket III’ engine, providing 105 hp at 6000 rpm and 150 ft-lb. of torque at 2500 rpm.

Visually, The Rocket III now features more matte black parts than chrome. The matte black updates include horn cover, airbox cover, new radiator caps, ABS pulse ring, headlight housing and mirrors. The 2013 Rocket III also comes with new tank badge, new seat upholstery and stitching, and now available in two new colors: Metallic Phantom Black with two red center-stripes, and  Matt Phantom Black with two white stripes center.

The 2013 Triumph Rocket III Touring still comes with plenty of chrome parts and receives new chrome engine guards, a mid-size windshield, as well as a sissy bar with passenger backrest and new luggage rack.

The 2013 Triumph Rocket III Touring model can be had with black cranberry red or black with twin gold striping.

Both 2013 Triumph Rocket III Roadster and 2013 Triumph Rocket III Touring variants will be available starting April 2013, and retain their 2012 pricing.
