Suzuki has unveiled the refreshed Burgman 650 maxi-scooter. For 2013, the best seller maxi-scooter in Europe has been revised and now features improved fuel economy. With the same 638cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine used when the scooter first debuted in 2002, the 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive is 15% more efficient than before in Drive Mode due to a refinedĀ transmission system and reduced losses from friction.
The engine is mated to a six speed gearbox, works with two preselected car modes and being capable to put out as much as 56 BHP, allowing the 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 to reach up to 160 km/h, just under 100mph. The 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive also comes equipped with dual front brake discs and a rear disc system with standard ABS, a parking lever, a new Eco light on the display panel, the updated Suzuki Electronically-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (SECVT) which includes new clutch plates that cause 35% less drag.
Visually, the 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive is sharper than the previous model and will be offered in black, gray, or white colors. Other features include an electrically adjustable windscreen, and there’re storage compartments under the seat (hold two full-face helmets) and below the handlebars (one with a DC electrical outlet).
