Ducati has unveiled the special edition of its middleweight sportbike, the Ducati 848 Evo Corse SE. The special editon bike gets with a new, lightweight, aluminium fuel tank and is looking great with a matt black/gray Ducati Corse Development Team colour scheme. Its new aluminium tank reduces the claimed dry weight by 2.2 pounds to 368 pounds as well as increases the Ducati 848 EVO’s fuel capacity by 0.66 gallons to 4.75 gallons.
The 2013 Ducati 848 Evo Corse special edition also features fully adjustable Öhlins rear suspension, Ducati Traction Control and Quick Shift, and upgraded 330mm brake discs with radial-mount Brembo monobloc calipers. The 848 Evo Corse SE sits on lightweight 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres.
The 2013 Ducati 848 Evo Corse special edition is still powered by the same 90-degree V-Twin Testastretta Evoluzione Twin engine linked to six speed gearbox, delivering 138 hp at 10,500 rpm and 72.3 ft-lb. at 9750 rpm.
