First introducted as concept at the epic 2011 edition of EICMA, the first production motorcycle of the CRP Energica has finally made its public debut, last mounth at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan.
The electric sportbike packs an oil-cooled permanent magnet AC motor that is connected with a single-speed gearbox, delivering 134 hp, which is higher compared to the Brammo Empulse R‘s claim of 54 hp. According to chief engineer Giampiero Testoni, the “green” superbike accelerates from 0-62 mph in about 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 134 mph. Read more
