The 2015 Triumph Thruxton Ace special edition was unveiled at the Ace Café in London earlier this month by Managing Director Mark Wilsmore, and is set to go on sale in UK in this December, with an estimated price tag of £8200. Production of this special cafe racer is limited to 100 units only. Deposits are being taken now.
The 2015 Triumph Thruxton Ace Special Edition is based on the established Thruxton. It shares the same chassis – that is based around the Bonneville – and the same 865cc parallel-twin engine that can produce 68hp and 53ft.lb of torque. The Special Edition is distinguished by a Sculpted Oxblood custom seat, a detachable seat hump, authentic bar end mirrors, a handlebar plaque, and a special one-off white and black paint scheme with Ace Café logos on the side panels, tank and tail section.
