The AGV Corsa Valentino Rossi Winter Test limited edition is a latest limited edition helmet from AVG designed for real motorbike enthusiasts, especially for fans of Valentino Rossi. The helmet features the same new race graphics as seen on the Valentino Rossi’s PISTA GP helmet, but without the Monster Energy Logo’s – due to this being a personal sponsor of Valentino Rossi -, as well as the Tribu dei Chihuahua and Turtle stickers for visor.
As you can see from the pictures, on the back of the limited edition helmet comes with ideograms for the Japanese word “Kando”, a word that was first used by the former head of Yamaha’s MotoGP program Masao Furusawa to describe Valentino Rossi when he joined Yamaha in 2004, and the version seen on the helmet was designed by Masao’s wife. The “Kando” word is used to indicate an intense emotion, such as a felt when seeing someone exclusive, deeply satisfying, or encountering something very special.
Based on the 2013 AGV Corsa motorcycle helmet, a road version of the Race PistaGP. The Corsa model is created as part of the AGV Extreme Standards project. It shares the same shell shape, aerodynamics, ventilation and eye port improvements as the GP-Tech helmet.
The AGV Corsa Valentino Rossi Winter Test limited edition helmet is available in UK shops from April 2013 (in US by September 2013).
