The Lotus C-01 is finally ready for the road! Dr Colin Kolles of Kodewa, Holzer Group, and German designer Daniel Simon have taken two years of planning and development to complete this superbike project, all under license from Group Lotus plc..
The new lightweight Lotus C-01 is powered by a 1195cc 75-degree V-Twin Rotax engine similar to that used in the KTM RC8R. The engine comes with a bore of 105 mm and stroke of 69mm, and with the touch of Kodewa’s hands, the engine now has a total output of almost 200 hp. The power is transfered the rear wheel through chain final drive, six-speed gearbox and wet hydraulic clutch. Read more
