Alabama-based motorcycle maker Confederate Motors has unveiled its newest, stand-out custom motorcyle that looks like a superhero motorcycle, the second-generation of the P51 Combat Fighter.
The Combat Fighter was inspired by the 1960’s rebel, anti-hero and the stripped, raw, chopper the maker rode. The entire is built from 6061 aerospace billet aluminum, from its chassis,fuel tank to its engine, making it weighs just 500 pounds, and it has a wheelbase of 62.5 inches.
The second generation Combat Fighter features a brand new CX4 architecture – Confederate’s patented, drag racing derived powertrain and powertrain mounting system. It boasts a 132-cubic inch (2.16-liter) V-twin engine that delivers 200 hp and 170 pound-feet of torque, to its huge ear wheel, which is made of a solid disk of carbon fiber. Read more
