BMW Motorrad has launched the 2016 model year of its motorcycle lineup including the 2016 BMW S1000RR, the 2016 BMW F800GT, the 2016 BMW R1200GS and 2016 BMW R1200GS Adventure, the 2016 BMW R1200RT, the 2016 BMW R nineT, the 2016 BMW S1000R, and the 2016 BMW K1600GT/ GTL/ GTL Exclusive. Some models receive minor updates and some only gets livery update.
The 2016 BMW S1000RR will be offered in a new black storm metallic/ racing red non-metallic paintjob.
The 2016 BMW F800GT also only gets new color option, monolith metallic matt/ sapphire black metallic, replacing the existing dark graphite metallic.
The 2016 BMW R1200GS now comes in a new light white non-metallic color, with the existing Alpine white 3 non-metallic and black storm metallic will no onger be available. Furthermore, the bike also receives the banking-optimised ABS Pro and a dynamic brake light. If you like dark color, then you can go for the new R1200GS TripleBlack, which is claimed as the special model. The TripleBlack adds cross-spoke wheels and a black-grey seat with “GS” logo on the passenger seat.
Like the standard R1200GS, the 2016 R1200GS Adventure also comes equipped with the ABS Pro and dynamic brake light, plus it comes in new color options: racing red non-metallic matt, ocean blue metallic matt, and light white non-metallic. For 2016, Alpine white 3 non-metallic, olive non-metallic matt and racing blue metallic matt paintjobs will no longer be offered.
The 2016 BMW R1200RT will be available in platin bronze metallic, replacing the callisto grey metallic matt model. Meanwhile, the 2016 BMW R nineT gets a hand-brushed naked/exposed aluminium fuel tank with smoothed welding seams (or an optional visible welding-seams), and heated grips.
The 2016 BMW S1000R now comes with a grained fuel tank trim instead of the previous model with fuel tank paint finish. It is available in a light white non-metallic color option only.
The 2016 BMW K1600GT/ GTL/ GTL Exclusive get ABS Pro and dynamic brake light. The GT model is available in a cosmic blue metallic/ back storm metallic paintjob, while the GTL and GTL Exclusive are offered in a new ocean blue metallic matt and sparkling storm metallic, respectively. Sakhir orange metallic/ black storm metallic (GT) and magnesium beige metallic (GTL) colors are no longer be available.
