2016 Honda Montesa Cota 300RR Trials Bike

American Honda has unveiled a new addition to its Montesa trials motorcycle lineup, called the 2016 Honda Montesa Cota 300RR. The new race-oriented Cota 300RR joins the recently improved Honda Cota 4RT260, which is also produced entirely at the Honda-owned Montesa factory in the trials hotbed of Barcelona, Spain, and is only available in limited quantities.

Compared to the Cota 4RT260, the Montesa Cota 300RR is powered by a redesigned 288cc engine, based on those used by Montesa’s riders Oriol Noguera and Eddie Karlsson in Trial World Championships, which comes with a longer stroke and larger bore for increased power and torque across the rpm range. It is also equipped with a programmable ECU that allows fine-tuning for various weather and terrain conditions. Read more
