Mission Motorcycles has introduced its two brand-new electric bikes, the Mission R and Mission RS. Both the “green” superbikes offer good design based on the TTXGP race-proven architecture and promise high performance to rival gasoline-powered superbikes.
The Mission RS is the a street-legal version of the Mission R prototype race bike which won the 2011 TTXGP electric grand prix at Laguna Seca in California by 40 seconds. Like the Mission R, the Mission RS sports a custom electric drivetrain, called the “Infinite Drive”, linked to a single-speed transmission, delivering over 160hp and an equally impressive 120 pound-feet of torque. The Missions accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and have a top speed of 150 mph. Read more
