Piaggio has confirmed that the prototype Moto Guzzi California 1400 which has been showed last year will be launched in U.S this fall. The announcement was made at a Piaggio Group Americas convention in Miami, and during the presentation, two new bikes were also unveiled -the 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 and the all-new Aprilia Caponord 1200.

According to the source, the California 1400 is scheduled as a 2013 model and will go into production sometime between July and September of this year. The Moto Guzzi California 1400 will be replacing the present 1100 variant, which is available this year in a limited edition version celebrating the 90th anniversary of Moto Guzzi. This custom neo-retro splendor is powered by a liquid-cooled V-Twin 90-degree engine. More technical information hasn’t revealed yet at the moment.

While the all-new Aprilia Caponord 1200 is said to be based on the Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200, with the same frame and engine.
