Yamaha Japan has introduced the special edition version of its dual-sport motorcycle Serow. The Yamaha Serow, which known in some markets as the Yamaha XT225, is a light-simple-yet-sturdy dual-sport motorcycle powered by a 223 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine.
The new bike is called the Yamaha Serow 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. As the name suggests, The Serow 30th Anniversary Limited Edition has been introduced to celebrate theĀ 30th anniversary of the Serow, which was first introduced in 1985.
While the original Serow has a plain-jane color scheme, the 2015 Yamaha Serow 30th Anniversary Limited Edition features a new bright-orage pattern graphic with “30th Anniversary” logo on its side cover. The bike also gets orange anodized rims, matching grab rails and headlight protector.
Production of the 2015 Yamaha Serow 30th Anniversary Limited Edition is limited to 2,500 units only. In Japan, it is priced at 545,000 Yen. No word from Yamaha about if it will make it available in other markets.
