Yamaha has added another model to its MT Lineup (known as FZ Lineup in North Americans), the 2015 Yamaha MT-07,Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage,Yamaha FZ-07,2015 Yamaha FZ-07,Yamaha FZ-07 Moto Cage. Designed for the European market, the MT-07 Moto Cage will join the Street Rally and Sport Tracker models, and is reportedly to make its public debut this day at the Intermot show in Cologne.
According to Yamaha, the 2015 Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage is inspired by stuntmen, i think that is why Yamaha has recruited Rafal “Stunter 13” Pasierbek as its official stunt rider to demo its Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage. See video below.
Based on the MT-07 (or FZ-07), the 2015 Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage is powered by the same 689cc Parallel Twin engine that mated to a manual 6-speed transmission with the regular chain final drive, providing 73.8 hp at 9000 rpm and 50.1 ft-lb. at 6500 rpm. The MT-07 Moto Cage is distinguished from the regular MT-07 by a new red engine guards, knuckle guards, radiator guard, an adjustable fly screen and tail section. Its 10-spoke cast front and rear wheels are finished in red and black, respectively.
Furthermore, the Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage version also receives a new passenger seat, hand guards, as well as numerous optional accessories, including an Akrapovic exhaust, ABS, ed steel mesh air scoops and side covers, a 31.7-inch seat height, a 3.7 gallon tank, and so on.
The 2015 Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage will be available for the European market only, in November 2014. The base model is priced at €6,690.
