2014 Voxan Wattman Electric Motorcycle

French brand Voxan Motors has proudly unveiled its giant yet powerful electric motorcycle at the 2013 Paris Motorcycle Show. The new bike, which is called the Voxan Wattman, was designed by Sacha Lakic.

The Voxan Wattman is billed as the world’s most powerful production electric motorcycle. It sports an electric motor with permanent magnets and liquid cooling, that delivers 200Hp and 147.5 pound-feet of torque up to 10,500 rpm. The Wattman accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds, 0-99.42 mph in just as little as 5.9 seconds, and it has a top speed of 105mph. All those numbers are fairly impressive for an electric motorcycle, especially for the 771.6-pound electric motorcycle.

Voxan claims the Wattman has a 111.8-mile range, and its 12.8kWh battery can be charged to 80% in just 30 minutes, thanks to a DC Combo II socket. The Lithium Ion battery, belt-drive motor, and cooling systems are housted in an aluminium exoskeleton.

The 2014 Voxan Wattman will be produced unit-by-unit, upon order, and hand-assembled at the company’s French manufacturing facility.
