Kawasaki has unveiled the 2014 Kawasaki Estrella 250 at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show which has been held last month.
Exclusively available in Japan only, the classic-styled Estrella 250 is powered by an air-cooled 249cc Single engine with a long 73mm stroke and a 66mm bore. The engine is mounted in a light-weight steel double-cradle frame, and it is claimed has a peak power output of 17.4 hp at 7500 rpm and 13.3 ft-lb. at 5500 rpm.
The 2014 Kawasaki Estrella 250 has high handlebars, relaxed footpegs, a new longitudinally-ribbed surface, which is 28.9-inches from the ground. For suspension and brakes, it uses a 39mm telescopic fork and dual rear shocks, and a two-piston caliper that grips the 330mm front disc rotor and a 160mm drum brake at rear.
Visually, the Estrella 250 features a single circular headlight, wire spoke wheels, dual analog instruments, and chrome fenders. The 2014 Kawasaki Estrella 250 is available in two different colors: Candy Caribbean Blue and Candy Ivy Green, all of which is dressing up with color matched headlight, side covers, and upper fork.
The Special Edition version is also available. It is distinguished by a Metallic Spark Black paint scheme with blacked out exhaust, engine, and forks, as well as fork gaiters.
The 2014 Kawasaki Estrella 250 costs ¥518,700 (US$5,180), while the 2014 Kawasaki Estrella 250 SE is priced at ¥533,400 (US$5,327). Numerous accessories for the Estrella 250 are available including a retro seat, bikini fairing, engine guards and panniers.
