The 2014 Honda CBR650F and 2014 Honda CB650F are two brand new middleweight motorcyles from Japan’s top auto manufacturer, Honda. Designated for the European markets, the 2014 CBR650F and CB650F have made their public debut at the 2013 EICMA motorcycle show which has been held in Milan, Italy.
The 2014 Honda CBR650F is “designed to conquer corners with ease and also be great around town.” It is powered by the all-new 649cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve inline-four with Honda’s PGM-FI fuel injection system that delivers 85.8 Hp at 11,000 rpm and 46.4 lb-ft of torque at 8000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear trought a wet, multi-plate clutch and a six-speed gearbox.
The engine is wrapped in a diamond twin-spar chassis which made of steel, and mated to an aluminium swingarm to make the bike at 465 lbs. Rigidity has been optimized. For suspension, the 2014 Honda CBR650F uses a non-adjustable 41mm telescopic fork and preload-adjustable monoshock out front and rear respectively. The rear suspension offers seven-stages of spring preload adjustment. Breaking system handled by 320 mm dual front discs and 240 mm rear disc brake, which helped by dual-channel ABS.
The bike sits on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 (front) and 180/55 (rear) tyres, and comes with front position lights, a 31.8-inch seat height and LED taillamps. A long list of factory accessories available for the new 2014 CBR650F includes a windscreen, heated grips, paddock stand, rear carrier and so on.
The 2014 Honda CBR650F with its sibling, the 2014 Honda CB650F are pretty much identical. The 2014 Honda CB650F has no fairing and offers a more upright riding position than the CBR650F’s leaning aggressive position.
The 2014 Honda CBR650F is available in four color options: Pearl Himalayas White, Graphite Black, Sword Silver Metallic and Pearl Metalloid White (Tricolor). The 2014 Honda CB650F is offered in five different colors: Pearl Himalayas White, Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic, Sword Silver Metallic, Pearl Queen Bee Yellow and Pearl Metalloid White (Tricolor). Prices have not been revealed yet.
