Siberian motorcycle manufacturer, Ural Motorcycles, has introduceted an icebreaker-inspired limited edition model – the Yamal. The Ural Yamal Limited Edition sidecar motorcycle has old-school look with orange/black painjob, a sidecar with awesome a shark mouth decal, dual fog head lights and a knobby spare tire. Moreover, the bike is the only motorcycle equipped with an oar!
Based on the Ural Ranger model, the name for this limited edition motorcycle comes from the Arktika-class nuclear-powered icebreaker ‘NS Yamal’ that’s sailed to the North Pole. The ship itself gets its name from the Yamal Peninsula, Yamal which translates as the end of the Earth and a peninsula in Russia is known for being nothing short of inhospitable, barren, and perpetually frozen.
The Ural Yamal Limited Edition sidecar motorcycle is powered by 749cc BMW derived engine that delivers 40hp @5600rpm and a torque of 38ft-lbs @4600rpm. The engine is mated to 4 speed transmission.
The Ural Yamal Limited Edition sidecar motorcycle will set you back about $14,250, and there’re only 50 available in U.S.
