The Suzuki Intruder C1500T was one of those motorcycles that was presented at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. Although not totally new, for 2013 model year, the touring cruiser now gets a fuel injection system and a more powerful engine compared to the previous model. Suzuki even claims the new engine the most powerful engine in the 1000cc-1600cc cruiser class.
The 2013 Suzuki Intruder C1500T is powered by a 1462cc liquid-cooled 54-degree V-Twin engine that responds with strong torque and smooth-running high-rpm power. It is linked to a five-speed transmission with a slipper clutch and the Suzuki Clutch Assist System.
The 2013 Suzuki Intruder C1500T features timeless cruiser styling. It comes with blacked out engine, pipes and wheels, broad windscreen, footboards, ABS plastic saddlebags, LED rear lights, a helmet holder on the left side of the rear fender, and integrated luggage that is available in black. The Suzuki Intruder C1500T also sports a multi-function instrument cluster on its 4.8 gallon fuel tank featuring a new large analog speedometer that shows sorts of information including the current gear, fuel gauge, clock and trip muter, low fuel light and turn signal indicators.
The 2013 Suzuki Intruder C1500T is expected will be available in March 2013. No word on pricing.
