American Honda has disclosed US pricing details for the 2016 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin which kicks off at $12,999 for the manual transmission model, and $13,699 for DCT version. Both models are expected to be available Spring 2016, with a worldwide press launch is scheduled ahead in October.
Both models come standard with a traction control, called Honda Selectable Torque Control, and Anti-lock brakes, which can both be switched off for off-road riding situations. The CRF1000L Africa Twin with a standard transmission weighs 503 lbs while the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) version 534 lbs.
American Honda also announced numerous accessories for the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin including a pedal shifter for DCT models.
